Applications

① Bundling of finished products at steel pipe factories

Seamless pipes, welded pipes, galvanised pipes, spiral pipes and other products are bundled immediately after production using galvanised or annealed strapping wire to secure them in place, preventing the pipes from rolling, deforming, or sustaining knocks and scratches during storage and transit.

② Bundling of semi-finished products for handling

During steel pipe processing, cutting and galvanising, semi-finished products are bundled with strapping wire to facilitate handling by forklifts and overhead cranes within the workshop.

③ Securing stacks in warehouses

For indoor and outdoor storage, pipes are bundled into neat stacks to enhance stability, prevent collapse and save storage space.

④ Bundling for logistics and transport

In road and rail transport, steel strapping is used to secure steel pipes, preventing bundles from coming loose or shifting due to jolts during transit, thereby ensuring transport safety; for export by sea, galvanised steel strapping is the preferred choice to prevent rust and corrosion.

⑤ Bundling of Scaffolding Steel Tubes

When scaffolding tubes are delivered to or removed from a construction site, they are bundled in bulk to facilitate loading, unloading and inventory checks; this is the most common application in construction.
