Expanded Metal Mesh: Ensuring High-Precision Screening in Moroccan Gold Mines
2026-04-21
In Morocco, gold deposits are often found within quartz veins, requiring the screening of gold-bearing sand particles measuring 0.1–1 mm. Stretched metal mesh is manufactured using an electroformed process, with a mesh aperture accuracy of ±0.03 mm, enabling the precise separation of fine gold-bearing sand and minimising the loss of precious metals. Its 316L stainless steel construction offers three times the corrosion resistance of standard stainless steel in cyanide leaching environments. When combined with an automatic spray cleaning system, it prevents gold particles from adhering to the mesh surface, thereby increasing mineral processing recovery rates by 2–3 percentage points.
