Warehouse partition fencing boosts sorting efficiency at logistics centre in Colombia
2026-04-24
A logistics centre in Bogotá uses partition fencing fitted with QR code-scanning locks to separate the ‘to be dispatched’ and ‘inspected’ zones, resulting in a 65% increase in sorting efficiency. The rate of misdirected goods has fallen from 18% to 1%, whilst international delivery times have been reduced from 9 days to 6 days. The warehouse manager stated: “During Black Friday, daily order volumes increased by 25,000 items. The smart locks on the mesh partitions enable traceable operations, reducing complaints regarding missed shipments by 80% and saving 70% of the time required for zone reallocation compared to traditional partition walls.”
