Machine Guarding Mesh Prevents Yarn Entanglement at Textile Mill in Côte d'Ivoire
2026-04-23
The Bouaké Textile Mill uses anti-entanglement machine guarding mesh to enclose its carding machines; the fine mesh prevents yarn from being drawn into the machinery. Following installation, entanglement incidents fell from four per month to zero, and carding efficiency increased by 20%. The workshop manager stated: “The mesh is translucent, allowing us to monitor the condition of the yarn. We can open the doors quickly when changing batches, increasing daily yarn production by 150 kg and annual revenue by 5 million CFA francs. The mesh is resistant to humidity and heat and does not develop mould.”
